Jeri Wachter (Producer/Director) is a NYC and Southern-raised filmmaker, producer, director, camerawoman, public speaker, and equity advocate. Following more than two decades in scientific and scholarly publishing, she has created compelling films, raising voices from diverse communities to tell critical and unique human stories. Her award-winning feature documentary, "Something in the Water" (2023), took "Best of Festival - Documentary State of the Nation" at the 31st BVFF. The film is a stunning mosaic of America searching for common ground through unprecedented challenges and change amid the 2020 U.S. presidential Election. "Rural Matters: Poverty in the Other America" is an intimate documentary portrait of people living on the edge of economic insecurity. She currently has two works in progress. Wachter co-founded Important Films Media and, previously, Workplace Equity Project (WE Survey). Wachter co-founded and operated William Andrew Publishing, which has been known worldwide for its leading and seminal publications on materials science, energy, ecology, and toxicology, as well as for the Knovel platform. She graduated from Baruch College, CUNY, New York, NY, with a Bachelor's in Biology and a minor in Sociology.

Joseph C. Stillman (Producer) is an award-winning veteran filmmaker, producer, director, cinematographer, writer, and co-founder of Important Films Media. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Stillman brings decades of filmmaking experience to creating substantive documentary films, motion pictures, television programming, and other video and film projects for clients and in collaboration with other leading filmmakers and artists worldwide. His feature documentary works include the internationally acclaimed, multi "Best of Festival - Documentary" award-winning "Citizen Clark... A Life of Principle", the story of former U.S. Attorney General and Human Rights activist Ramsey Clark; award-winning "Something in the Water," a film about a search for common ground in America, and "Rural Matters: Poverty in the Other America." Stillman wrote, produced, and directed the motion picture, "Bear" (2023) and presently has two works in progress. A consummate artist dedicated to human rights and social justice, Stillman's impactful works have been seen around the globe. He graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, California, with a major in motion picture production.
